Answers

1. Please submit Self declaration of No. of Contacts made during the last 5 Years for renewal in your request letter. (Minimum 40 contacts per year is mandatory) which can be downloaded from below and send it to WPC Delhi along with the Photocopy of License & demand draft of renewal fees, also Please write your complete recent address (Including Town,City,State and PIN) of correspondence on top of the letter for fast disposal of the cases.

Please also enclose ONE self addressed, un-stamped envelop of 23cm x 15 cm size for the Renewal Amateur License, where it is required to be posted and/or enclose ONE self addressed, un-stamped envelop of 24cm x 11 cm size for all other kind of correspondence.

2. Fee for Issue/Renewal of License

Grade Fee for 5 Years Fee for 2 Years

Advance-Grade 125/- 50/-

Grade-I 100/- 40/-

Grade-II 60/- 25/-

Grade-II (Rest) or SWL 60/- 25/-

3. Yes License is valid, but it shall be renewed immediately , but in your renewal application you have to justify for late renewal, No Late fees will be charged till expiry date , thereafter Late fee will be charged @ Rs. 10/- for every 6 Months.

4. No , only send the photocopy of License and previous renewal slips

No, a Demand Draft of requisite amount as mentioned above, drawn from any branch of State bank of India Only in favors of “Pay and Account Officer (HQ), Department of Telecommunication ” or " or PAO(HQ), DOT " payable at Service Branch, New Delhi (code-7687). [Pl. write your License No./Call-sign/Name, License no.) on overleaf of DD ]

7. No, Please send your application by Ordinary Post, Regd. Post or preferably by Speed post (it reaches faster)

8. There is no time specified by WPC, but it generally takes 30- 60 days for the renewal to happen.
